Introduction to Multiplication and Division

PS7: LIFESTYLES AND CUSTOMS OF AUSTRALIA
The learner will be able to compare and contrast the culture of Australia to the United States of America.
  
SS.2.7.1 Cardinal directions
The learner will be able to locate Australia on a world map using cardinal directions in relation to the poles, hemispheres, and the equator.
  
SS.2.7.2 Landforms/bodies of water
The learner will be able to identify and describe the physical characteristics of landforms (continents, peninsulas and islands) and bodies of water (lakes, rivers, oceans).
  
SS.2.7.3 Human/natural/capital resource
The learner will be able to describe the differences among human resources (people at work), natural resources (water, soil, wood, etc.), and capital resources (machines, tools, etc.) used to produce different goods or services in Australia.
  
SS.2.7.4 Producers and consumers
The learner will be able to give examples of producers and consumers in Australia.
  
SS.2.7.5 Present day customs/lifestyles
The learner will be able to compare the present day customs and lifestyles of the United States to Australia with specific attention to food, shelter, clothing, transportation, music, art, literature, natural and cultural resources, and production of goods and services.
