“Wising Up” is a series of four ninety-minute workshops designed to help parents and sons talk more comfortably about puberty, values and appropriate behavior.  

Session I is for parents only.  During this session an overview of the program is given and parents are provided an opportunity to ask questions and discuss program concerns. The overall goal of the program is to help parents and sons develop the skills to talk about sensitive sexuality topics such as: the changes that occur during puberty, adolescent feelings and sexual development, and family values and parental expectations during the teen years.  More information is attached.

Timber Ridge Elementary School will offer this program on four consecutive Tuesdays beginning January 8, 2008. 

The cost is $50.00 per family.  Each session will be held from 6:30 PM to 8 PM.
