Tritt Elementary's

Nature Nook/Tritt Trellis

We have great news for 2007!  Plans have been approved to build a pergola near the bog and transform the Nature Nook into a wonderful outdoor reading area.  We are pleased to have one of our local boy scouts design and volunteer his time to build a pergola for the Nature Nook, while also earning the prestigious Eagle Scout badge.  The pergola will provide much needed shade for our students when they venture outdoors to the Nature Nook.  Construction is expected to begin in late February.

These are some volunteer pictures from the "Make a Difference Day"!.  The weather was wonderful! Over 40 volunteers came to help clean up the school campus and also do some much needed weeding and trimming of the bushes and trees in the Nature Nook.  Special thanks also go out to Cub Scout Pack 770 and Glen Desio, committee chairperson, who graciously donated their time in helping us keep our Tritt campus looking beautiful.

If you would like to help us maintain our beautiful campus by volunteering a little of your time, please feel free to contact us.  Comments and questions should be directed to:
