From the Office of Student Achievement...

Tritt is a 2006 Single statewide Accountability System award winner.  The Governor's Office of Student Achievement in collaboration with the Governor's Office and the Georgia Department of Education is recognizing public schools across Georgia for improving and promoting excellence in student academic achievement.  Georgia's Single Statewide Accountability System (SSAS) for awards combines criteria for making Adequate Yearly Progress (AYP) with criteria for identifying schools in the following two categories: 1) Greatest Gain in meeting and exceeding standards and 2) Highest Percentage of students meeting and exceeding standards.  There are four school award levels which include: Platinum, Gold, Silver, and Bronze.

Our school is a 2006 Platinum Award Winner for Highest Percentage in meeting and exceeding academic standards.  This SSAS award provides recognition to our administration, entire staff, district office personnel, parents, students and community for the hard work and dedication to academic excellence.
