Projects
- Wellstar Kennestone Hospital
shadowing.
- Dr. H. Philip Sachs allowed
one member per month to shadow him at his office from
1:30 - 3:30 p.m. during WEB Wednesday.
- Many members have signed up
to volunteer this summer at Scottish Rite Hospital.
- Bake sale in March to raise
money for Ronald McDonald House.
- Premedical
Summer Camp at St. George University in Grenada. The
purpose of the camp is to provide academic
instruction and insight into the challenges and
rewards that await a budding medical student and
career physician. There were planned outings
and an historical prospective introduced the
students to the unique culture of Grenada, including
a rainforest, waterfalls, and coral reefs.
Four members of the Future Physicians Club attended the medical school camp.

Students
volunteer at hospitals in the Atlanta area,
including Children's Healthcare of Atlanta, Scottish
Rite Hospital, and St. Joseph's Hospital.
Students also volunteer in other medical-related
areas.
Awards
- Walton's Graphic Arts
Department designed our club T-shirts. When the
design was submitted to the Printing Industry
Association of Georgia (PIAG), it won an Award of
Excellence.
