have a meeting. Student does not need to make an appointment
but it is advisable he/she checks with me in case I have another
obligation.

Progress Reports:
-
Students
will be given cut-ups of their grades, usually at each 3 week
grading period or after a major test.

Parents may check their
student’s grades on the internet.
Homework:
-
Your student receives a
unit calendar outlining each day’s activity, the homework for that
evening, and quiz and test dates.

If you have any doubt
as to whether your student has homework, or has finished his/her
homework, ask to see the unit syllabus and any completed homework.

Usually odd problems in
the textbook are assigned. Students are expected to check their
answers after they have completed the problem. It’s
evident to you and me but too often not to the student that
copying answers from the back of the book will not help the
learning process. If a student is having trouble with a problem,
I do encourage them to check the answer and try to work backwards.
