The Cobb County Board of Education meets at 9:00 a.m. on the second Wednesday for a work session on the agenda and at 7:30 p.m. on the fourth Thursday of each month for a voting session on the agenda at the Central Administration Building, 514 Glover Street in Marietta.  There is only one meeting in November and December due to Thanksgiving and Winter Holidays.

The superintendent holds "Open Office Hour" meetings, which are open to residents of Cobb County and to School District employees. Meetings are held at the Central Office at 514 Glover Street, in Marietta, on the second Tuesday of the month. Attendees must sign in between 4-4:30 PM, prior to the meeting. Dates in second half of 2003: Sept. 9, Oct. 14, Nov. 11 and Dec. 9.

Cobb County Council Presidents (Jessye Coleman, South Cobb, Tom Mathis and ECCC) and the 9th District PTA Director are invited to monthly Advisory Meetings with the Superintendent at the Central Office.
