Scholarship Applications now available. The Wheeler High School Orchestras participated in the Virginia Beach Music Festival during the weekend of April 26-29, 2007. The group performed on Friday, April 27 at the L. Douglas Wilder Performing Arts Center on the campus of Norfolk State University. At the competiition, the orchestra received a rating of Excellent and placed third overall. Congratulations to the Wheeler Orchestra on a concert and trip well done! Both the Wheeler Sinfonia Orchestra and the Wheeler Chamber Orchestra rated a Superior at the 2007 Georgia Music Educators Association festival. We are so proud of our students and the outstanding job that Dr. Wasson does with our orchestra program. Congratulations to Dr. Wasson and the students!
