This is Dawn Neely’s fifteenth year in education and her thirteenth year at Allatoona. Prior to working at Allatoona, she spent two years at Campbell High School working with students at risk of not graduating, as a Graduation Coach.
She was born and raised in Portsmouth, Virginia. She loves to read, travel and spend time with family and friends. She has one son, Tyler, who attends Allatoona.
Skills and Education
She earned both her Bachelor’s in Human Services Counseling and Masters of Science in Education (Mental Health Counseling) from Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia. She worked as a Mental Health Therapist prior to obtaining her Certification in School Counseling from the University of West Georgia.
