Students across the Cobb County School District return to school on Monday, August 1. Staff members are ready to welcome back the 108,000+ students who come through the school doors.

Safety is the number priority in Cobb Schools. That is why the District now has a new assistant superintendent completely dedicated to school safety initiatives. The Cobb Shield website features more details on how the District keeps our schools safe and secure.

Cobb’s team of dedicated bus drivers—many of whom have decades of experience behind the wheel of the big yellow bus—are ready to safely transport over 72,000 students to and from school every day. There are more than 37,000 bus stops throughout the Cobb County School District and about 870 bus routes.
