Dual Language English/Spanish Immersion Program

Clarkdale's Dual Language English/Spanish Immersion Program is a unique model which provides instruction and support for students in learning both languages. Students will split their day between instruction in Spanish and English. We will continue to grow this program each year through Grade 5. We will instill cultural competence and enhance communication among our students and community. It will help students become bilingual and biliterate in an ever changing world.
The electronic translation service is hosted by Google Translate. The quality of the translation will vary in some of the languages offered by Google. Google Translate is a free service and currently offers translation in over 50 languages, although an impressive number, this does not capture all languages or dialects. The basic translation’s goal is to capture the general intention of the original English material.
