On May 23, 2022, an event at McCullum Airport with parking at KSU Center (adjacent to Cracker Barrel) is expected to produce a high volume of traffic between the hours of 3:00 PM – 8:00 PM.  To help you navigate the additional traffic we suggest you use an alternate route to access the main campus of KSU.

When approaching KSU campus from the east, if Chastain Road is experiencing heavier than normal traffic delays, consider using this alternative route:  turn right on Busbee Parkway and then take the second left onto Townpark Lane.  Proceed around the traffic circle taking the second exit onto the Skip Spann Connector.  After crossing the bridge over I-75 you will come to a traffic light at Frey Road. Guest should proceed straight through the intersection which leads into the East Parking Deck. Graduates should turn right on Frey Road to go to the Central Parking Deck.
