Cell Phone Policy Change for 2nd Semester- We have tried to limit the use of cellphones during instructional time, however, it is the usage of cellphone during class exchange and other times by students which is becoming a huge issue.  Students are sending and receiving messages, images and videos (some disturbing) from other students at Floyd and outside of Floyd which are becoming a huge disruption at school.  Starting on January 5th, we will have a school wide ban on student cell phone use from 8:15am - 4:15pm. Students will have to put away their cellphones and can not use them at all during the school day. If your student is caught using their cellphone, the cellphone will be taken and you the parent will have to get the phone from the main office.
