This is Dr. Osborne’s third year as an assistant principal at Harrison High School. An experienced school administrator, she spent seven years as an assistant principal at McEachern High School. Prior to becoming an administrator, she served 13 years as a social studies teacher and academic coach. As the founding teacher for American government at Cobb Virtual Academy, where she taught both in person and online for eight years, she transferred to the central office and worked for seven years in professional learning as the Blackboard administrator for the district.
An army brat, Dr. Osborne grew up around the globe but ultimately settled in Kennesaw, Georgia where she graduated from Sprayberry High School. She received her bachelor’s degree from Kennesaw State College in 1995, her master’s degree in 2002 from Walden University, her specialist degree in educational leadership from Lincoln Memorial University in 2007, and finally in 2018 received her doctorate in educational leadership from Liberty University. Her dissertation topic centered around cyberbullying, which blends her leadership interests and virtual learning skills.
Dr. Osborne is married to Terry, and they have a blended family of seven children. The last of the seven is a senior in high school, and she has four grandchildren. When she is not watching college football (especially her team, Notre Dame) she loves to travel, boat, try new cuisine, craft, ride on her Harley, and work around her mini farm in Powder Springs.
This is Dr. Osborne’s 30th year in education, and she is thrilled to be at Harrison High School. Go, Hoyas.
