2022 Summer Learning Programs 

High School Summer Credit Recovery

  • Summer School is scheduled as follows:  
    • Dates: June 14- June 30 (Monday-Thursday only)  
    • Time: 9:00 AM-3:00 PM  
  • Requirements to attend Cobb County School District Summer School 
    • Student must be currently registered in a Cobb County school  
    • Student must have ended the school year in a Cobb Schools High School  
    • Student must have failed a course. Summer School is NOT for initial credits nor to get ahead for the next school year.  
  • Face-to-Face (FTF) in-person instruction at 3 site locations. Students are assigned to one of the sites below based on their districted high school.  
    • Allatoona High School 
    • Pope High School 
    • South Cobb High School 
  • Online registration is currently open and closes at midnight on May 24th 
  • Enrolling adults must register their students through ParentVUE

Cobb Course Refresher

The Cobb Course Refresher gives high school students an opportunity to gain a greater comfort level with course content by reviewing digital lessons. Students who register for the Cobb Course Refresher may review content for courses taken during the 2021-2022 school year or preview courses they will take during the 2022-2023 school year. Summer Learning Quest (By Invite Only)

Summer Enrichment Academy (By Invite Only)

  • Summer program for Cobb Schools high achieving elementary-aged students during the month of June  
  • This is the sixth year this opportunity has been offered  
  • Through a lottery process, approximately 575 students will have an opportunity to attend this optional summer learning experience at one of two Cobb campuses  
    • Pitner Elementary  
    • Smyrna Elementary

Summer Link provides various online resources as well as 30 days of ELA and Math instructional activities for Pre-K to high school students. You may access this bank of instructional resources through Cobb Teaching and Learning System (CTLS).
