Welcome Summer Time

We thank you for another outstanding year at the Mountain! We started the school year under many of our pandemic guidelines and ended the year with two school dances. From Tik Tok challenges and laptop distribution to Odyssey of the Mind placing third in state and a student receiving a $10,000 REACH Scholarship, our school year has experiences a strenuous CLIMB. During the CLIMB our students have reacclimated to face-to-face instruction and readied themselves for their next grade level. Our community has voted us amongst the Best of Cobb Public Middle Schools for four years running and generated tens of thousands of dollars to support student programs and the enhancement of our learning environment.

Truly, Mustang Nation has demonstrated our resiliency during the past three years and shown our readiness to enter a post-pandemic school year with welcome arms – ready to be more successful than ever.

I thank our teachers for their dedication, our families for their support, and our students for their flexibility as their world continued to evolve. Mustang Nation is alive and well. I am so thankful for the wonderful community, staff, and students we have. We are stronger as a result of our CLIMB this year and have learned that regardless of what obstacles may come our way, that our commitment to our vision of preparing our kids for high school success has always kept us unified. To our 8th grade families, we wish you the best as you and your child prepare for their next CLIMB as they enter high school. To our 6th and 7th grade families, we can’t wait to see what new heights we CLIMB this upcoming year. We hope you and your family have the opportunity to create memories together this summer and look forward to seeing you again in 2022-2023.   Be sure to watch our website and our social media platforms for all the latest in our back-to-school news.
