Meet Mr. Mark Johnson, Pine Mountain Middle School's Head Custodian. Mr. Johnson has been serving the learning community of Pine Mountain since 2018. During his time at our school, Mr. Johnson has lead the transformation of our campus to what it is today.

From making the campus bright and cheery to keeping us healthy and safe during the pandemic, Mr. Johnson has lead some amazing work. While kids and staff were teaching and learning off campus, Mr. Johnson and his team repainted all of our grade level commons, hallways, theater, and media center using our official school colors. Today, our hallways are color coded by grade level which makes our campus easier to navigate. In addition, Mr. Johnson has worked to ensure our sanitizing and cleaning equipment is not only working at optimal levels, but also has worked to ensure easy access to it by all staff members. 

In addition to his work with ensuring we have a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for teachers to teach and students to learn, Mr. Johnson can frequently be found greeting students as they enter the school each day. Mr. Johnson gives 110% to his school and works to ensure that the tone and feeling of our school sets the stage for all students to feel welcome and safe regardless of whether that comes from keeping the school sanitized and clean or setting the tone for the day with a smile. His commitment to service at our school is another example why Pine Mountain Middle School is the best place to teach, lead, and learn.
