Fun. Creative. Positive. These are just a few words that describe the gifts that this week's Staff Spotlight brings to our learning community. Meet Mrs. Kim Ferguson, our front office clerk.

If you have called our school or been on campus, you have probably interacted with Mrs. Ferguson. From setting the right tone with guests or helping families and students connect for orthodontist appointments or ensure immunizations are up to date and complete, Mrs. Ferguson can always be observed spreading cheer and providing top rate service. Not even a pandemic could stop her from having a positive, can-do attitude. 

In addition to her ability to make everyone feel welcome and comfortable, Mrs. Ferguson adds magic to everything she touches at our school. Whether adding mountain climbing banners to Base Camp or creating the signage inside our school to help students and families be able find their way, Mrs. Ferguson never finds an idle moment. From creating custom, themed labels for our Teacher of the Year gift bag to making themed t-shirts to support school spirit, Mrs. Ferguson helps make being at the Mountain fun.

Her mindfulness in working with others and ability to balance the social-emotional needs of people working in a high-performing organization, help make Pine Mountain Middle School the best place to teach, lead, and learn.
