Staff Spotlight - John Bresnahan

Meet Mr. John Bresnahan, this week's Staff Spotlight. Mr. Bresnahan serves as one of our paraprofessionals at our school. However, for all those that know Mr. Bresnahan, or Mr. B as we call him at the Mountain, he is an MVP (Most Valuable Player).

Mr. Bresnahan can be seen almost every morning greeting and welcoming students. Whether inside the main lobby or inside the cafeteria before school starts, you will see Mr. B starting the day for students and staff with a smile and a word of encouragement. Throughout the day, Mr. B can be seen helping his students with their studies, teaching them how to stay organized, and double checking to ensure their day is going to be as productive as he can make it.

When Mr. B isn't with kids, you can find him helping the staff. Whenever he walks through a room, he always stops and asks if there is anything he can help do. He takes the initiative to find the people and the places he can make a difference. Mr. B models servant leadership in all he does. The staff at Pine Mountain has recognized him as the 2020-2021 Classified Employee of the Year due to the impact he makes at the Mountain. He has earned the respect and the admiration for all those around him.

This week we celebrate Mr. Bresnahan for showing all of us what it looks like to "Never stop CLIMBing". He is committed to all those who teach and learn at the Mountain. He models leadership by jumping in and helping where ever he is needed. He shows integrity through his consistency in what he does and never wavering from his values. He is always mindful about setting a positive tone and looking for ways to help. He demonstrates a command of maintaining balance in his work and the life of his family. Mr. B is another reason Pine Mountain Middle School is the best place to teach, lead, and learn.
