Greetings Pope HS community and Happy New Year!  Welcome back students.  I hope you all have a great start to Spring semester.  For the Class of 2023, this is your last semester, so I challenge you to make it the best yet. I am so proud of our students and how they performed first semester. We had 672 students earn a 4.0 or better Fall Semester. Now it is time to focus on a strong 2nd semester and preparing for testing in April and May. 

 A few reminders as we begin 2nd semester:

• Make-up final exams—for those students who missed a final exam due to an excused absence, make sure you have made arrangements with your teacher for a make-up.  All make-ups must be completed by Friday, January 13. 
• Dress code—Make sure to be properly dressed as per dress code.  As a reminder as temperatures will soon be rising, all bellies must be covered at all times and no hats or hoodies on in the building.
• Bathrooms—No congregating in restrooms. Restrooms should only be used for their intended purpose.
• Safety—It takes all of us.  If you see something, please say something.
• X Block dismissal—All students remaining on campus, must report to the Pope Theatre for supervised study hall by 2:15. Students are NOT allowed to leave campus and then return to ride the bus.  
• A/O—Will begin on Tuesday, January 17.
