Tuesday, January 7, 2014-
Did you know current
kindergarten students will graduate in the year 2026! What will
our schools look like then? Will schools have the same structure
that they do now? Will parents play a larger role in their local
schools? What about class sizes, finances, and school culture?
All of these are considerations as the Cobb County School
District looks at future options. Please join us for a community
conversation to talk about the future of our schools and our
school district at one of four upcoming Vision 2026 public
forums. The first forum will be held at Campbell High School in
Smyrna on November 18th, followed by South Cobb High School on
November 21st, Kennesaw Mountain High School on December 3rd,
and Lassiter High School on December 5th. All public forums will
begin at 6.30 p.m. and will take place in the school theaters.
We hope to see you there! Your input is critical to this
process. For more information, please visit the school district
web site at www.cobbk12.org.
