“Thanks a Billion!”

Target Kicks Off A New Teacher Appreciation Campaign

Before you say farewell at the end of the school year, say thank you. That’s the message Target’s sending to students and parents everywhere with its Thanks a Billion” campaign, which invites guests to honor rock star teachers for all their hard work.

As part of the social campaign, guests are encouraged to share a message of appreciation through Target’s Facebook page or the Thanks a Billion website, honoring a teacher who has made an impact on their life. When a guest submits a note of gratitude (certain terms & conditions apply), Target will donate $25 to the teacher’s school with the opportunity for each school to receive up to $25,000.

Our Mission:   It is the mission of the Bullard Elementary School District Educational Foundation to support and recognize innovative programs that offer hands-on experiences for students. We will work with the community to increase capital improvement, technology and instructional programs for public education.

The foundation's role is to fund elements of education that the County, State and PTSA are unable to provide.   We would love to have more help and support from our Bullard community  in the form of donations, corporate sponsorship, volunteers, committee members or board participation.  This year we will work towards earning money for listening stations for primary classrooms, iPads for each classroom teacher, and educational apps to download on  the iPads that were funded last year!  If you would like to volunteer with the Bullard Foundation, please email us at  Please visit our website,
