Georgia Parent Survey
The Georgia Parent Survey is modeled after the student survey and contains 24 questions. Parents may complete the survey using their personal computer, smartphones or tablet. All parents are encouraged to participate in the Georgia Parent Survey because the data will be used as part of the calculation of the School Climate Star Rating. Survey responses are anonymous and will be submitted directly to the Georgia Department of Education for analysis. Individual data results from the Georgia Parent Survey will not be available to the public and will not be posted online. The URL address for the Georgia Parent Survey is posted below.

LEGO Building is Coming to East Side

Cobb EMC is once again sponsoring a Lego Building Competition to be held at East Side Elementary School on Friday, October 16, 2015 from 6:00 – 9:30 p.m. The event is open to students grades 2-8. There will be prizes awarded. Funds raised through this event will benefit the Cobb County School System - Elementary Science Olympiad program. A limited number of LEGO® builders (40 in each heat) will display speed and accuracy for a chance to win some great prizes. DATE: 10/16/2015 ( Fri 6:00PM - 9:30PM EDT )

Congratulations to Samarth Mahapatra on being named a Top Ten Finalist in the 1st annual KiDtalk Student Voice Competition for the Cobb County School District. The top ten finalists are the student(s) who exhibited the best perspectives on the prompt Why Not?, truly articulating what they care about as students in our district.
