year we are requesting that you send in a
self-addressed, stamped envelope to your student's
homeroom teacher. This will be used to mail the
end of year report card for your student.

STUDENT ENROLLMENT
CHECKLIST
THE SCHOOL WILL REQUEST:
- An official copy of the
student’s Social Security card/number. If parent or
guardian objects to the incorporation of the social
security number into school records they may fill
out the required wavier by signing the objection of
Social Security number (Form JF-4)
- Certificate of Immunization (GA
Form 3231) (Religious waivers (Form JLC-4) can be
filled out
- Hearing, Dental, Vision
Screening Certificate (GA Form 3300)
- Proof of Birth date
- Withdrawal form from previous
school (if coming during school year) or final
report card. Must be TESTED if enrolling from
home school or non-accredited private school
- All academic, disciplinary and
special education records from previous school
- Two documents proving residency
that they live in the district (For example: drivers
licenses, current utility bills, settlement
statement, lease, tax statement, voters registration
documentation form Cobb County. If living with
someone in the district then they must provide us
with Notarized Statement of Legal Residence filled
out correctly and current documents with the people
they are living with proofing they live in the
district.
- All new enrollments must
complete Form JF-5,
Form JF-12b,
Form JF-9
(attached) and
JF-4/JLC-4 if applicable.
Attention current 8th
grade students!
Would you like a preview of high school life at
Hillgrove? The Hillgrove School Counselors are offering
an informative "Freshman Boot Camp" for current 8th
grade students on Tuesday, July 24th from 8:30am -
12:30pm. The camp will be held at Hillgrove High School.
Camp sessions
will focus on organizational skills, high school
expectations, career pathways offered at Hillgrove, and
a tour of the building. The registration cost is $13,
which includes a T-shirt, binder, dividers, and lunch at
the conclusion of camp. Interested students must
pre-register
here. The $13 registration fee (cash only/exact
change) can be paid in the Hillgrove Counseling Office
from 8:30 - 11:00 and 1:00 - 3:30 beginning Monday, May
14th until Thursday, May 24th. Registration is on a
first come, first served basis; space is limited!

Thank you to everyone who participated in the Green
School Program again this year. We have been
awarded our Green School Status for the 4th year in a
row, and we have 6 Green Teachers (Wise, Denton,
Scoville, Cali, Hahn, Kilkenny).
