Summer Information
Under Construction starting May 31st

Tapp Middle School will be closed for the summer due to construction. Summer staff will relocate to Lovinggood Middle School effective May 31st.
Summer registration will be July 25th, 8:30am - 12pm, 1:00pm - 4:30pm. Construction should be completed in time for registration; however, please be sure to check this website for updates.

to Sixth Grader Emma Wilson for placing 6th place in the Cobb County Spelling Bee on January 26th at Kennesaw Mountain High School. Emma will compete in the Regional Spelling Bee on February 23rd.

All State Chorus

District 12 Honor Band

Andrea Maddox, Jalen Jackson, and Destin Williams were selected from hundreds of Cobb County, Douglas County, and Marietta City band students who auditioned. The students rehearsed for two days at Hightower Trail Middle School and presented a concert on Sunday, February 3rd.

Georgia Middle School All State Band

Andrea Maddox was selected for the Georgia Middle School All State Band. She was selected after a very competitive audition process of thousands of students from across the state of Georgia. She traveled to Savannah, Georgia February 28 through March 2 to rehearse and perform a concert with the All State Band. This is a tremedous honor. Congraluations Andrea.

  RISING 6TH GRADE IMMUNIZATION UPDATES NEEDED BEFORE SCHOOL STARTS IN THE FALL. Start your children's middle school years off right! Updated immunization certificates should be given to your elementary school as soon as possible. Immunizations should include 2 doses of Measles and Mumps vaccine, 1 dose of Rubella vaccine, and 2 doses of Varicella vaccine.
