2015-16 School Choice

The Cobb County School District is again offering School Choice (HB 251 and SB10) transfers for the 2015-2016 school year.  Individual school capacity information and applications will be available beginning February 1, 2015 on the District website.  For more information, please see our 2015-16 School Choice webpage.

REMINDERS FOR THE NEW YEAR

School starts promptly at 7:50a.m.

 Any student coming into school 7:50 a.m. or later will be marked tardy and must be signed in by an adult.

Breakfast is served from 7:10a.m.-7:45a.m. Please have your student(s) here on time to eat breakfast.

Student checkouts end at 1:50p.m. No student will be called up for dismissal after 1:50p.m.

All students (car riders and walkers) should be picked up by 2:35p.m.

Any student that has been absent needs to have a doctor’s note or a parent’s excuse stating why the student was absent.(Send in by the third day after the date of absence.)

Any student checked out before 11:00 a.m. will be considered absent. If they were checked out for a doctor’s appointment, an excuse from the doctor’s office is needed for an excused absence (unless called by the clinic).
