July 21st. Blackwell will be open 8:00-5:00.

Beat summer learning loss with Mathnasium
With the successful completion of our
content acquisition process for K-2 ELA resources we look
forward to the next content acquisition process that will
include 3-12 English Language Arts. As we continue to establish
a balanced literacy approach for ELA as outlined in The Cobb
Commitment, we will consider resources that support this model
and address the needs identified through our needs
assessment and district data.

2015-16 School Choice
The Cobb County School District is again offering School Choice
(HB 251 and SB10) transfers for the 2016-2017 school year.
Individual school capacity information and applications will be
available beginning February 1, 2016 on the District website.

All schools, regardless of having any available space, are asked
to have this posted by Friday, February 5.
Inclement weather information. This will provide
information on days that school has to be cancelled due to
inclement weather. It is very important to ensure that
your student's teacher has an updated
Inclement Weather form for your
student. If not, print out the form and have your student
return it to his/her teacher.
- The school building
opens at 7:20 a.m. Please do not drop
students off before 7:20 a.m.
- School starts at 7:50
- Breakfast will be
served until 7:45 AM
- Student check-out is
not permitted after 1:45 PM
- All transportation
changes must be in the form of a hand written note with a
signature and a date. We cannot accept changes that are
sent via email, fax, text, or phone.
Cobb County School District is now offering
Office 365 to students. For more information please visit the
Instructional Technology page. The student username was sent
to parents in an email from the district. It is similar to an
email address. The student password for Office 365 is their
