Hooray for Summer - Let's Read!

For the first time ever, the Cobb County School District and the Cobb County Public Library have collaborated to create summer reading programs that support one another and provide the best resources and experiences for children.  The program starts June 1st.  Visit our web page to find out more: Summer Reading Program

Summer Registration - New Students

If you are new to the area and wish to enroll your child at Garrison Mill, summer registration will take place on

Thursday, July 25th,
9 AM  -  5:30 PM

You will need to bring the following documents:
°  Birth Certificate
°  Form 3231 - Immunizations
°  Form 3300 - Dental, Hearing and Vision
°  Social Security Card or Number
°  Verification of Address - 2 documents (e.g. Utility Bill)
°  Grades and/or Test Scores - (Grades 1 through 5)
    If available from previous school

Start Time:  7:55 AM

Dismissal Time:  2:25 PM


REMINDER:  FOR THE SAFETY OF ALL STUDENTS
If your child arrives after 7:55 AM, you must sign the child in at the PTA desk in the lobby.  No transportation changes or dismissal is permitted after 1:45 PM.

Inclement Weather

We encourage our staff and parents to listen to News/Talk 750 WSB (750 on the AM radio dial) when winter weather threatens. In addition, the News/Talk 750 WSB website provides a complete and frequently updated list of school closings online at: www.wsbradio.com.

In the event of an early dismissal due to inclement weather, the After School Program (ASP) will also be closed.
