Advanced Ed Parent survey

Parents are encouraged to participate in the AdvancED Parent Survey. The data from this survey will inform the school and the district about parents’ opinions about our school. Survey responses are anonymous and will be submitted directly to AdvancED for analysis. Individual data results will not be available to the public and will not be posted online. You may use any personal device to complete this survey. The AdvancED Parent Survey will be open February 22 – April 29

A Message from Officer Ayers

“No Parking in the Fire Lane” will be enforced starting August 24th. At no time can you park your vehicle in the fire lane, except to drop off. If business is to be conducted within the school or area of the drop-off, you will need to move your vehicle to the parking lot.

When picking up the students at the time of dismissal, do not park in the Fire Lane along the school entrance to the Band room until 4:10 pm. You are allowed to park along the driveway from the entrance to the school where the road terminates for teacher parking and enters the parking lot.

A Fire Lane violation is $137 and no warnings will be issued as the signs are posted for the warning.

Attendance

Showing up for school every day on time has a huge impact on a student’s academic success starting in kindergarten and continuing through high school. Even as children grow older and more independent, families play a key role in making sure students get to school safely every day and understand why attendance is so important for success in school and in life.

Regular attendance is critical to your child’s success at McCleskey and we encourage you to have your child at school all day every day unless sick. Attendance is also an important component is our CCRPI score. Once a student reaches 6 or more days absent, whether excused or unexcused they do not count for our attendance data in both the CCRPI and the 5 Star Climate Survey. Students who are present less than 65% of their enrollment period have standardized state test scores that do not count for McCleskey on the CCRPI. Please support your child and our school by having your child in attendance each day.

McCleskey appreciates your support in having your child at school all day every day
