PARENT OPEN HOUSE
Tuesday, August 19th
6:30 – 8:30 p.m.
We are looking forward to welcoming parents at our Open House.
Open House will be on Tuesday, August 19 beginning at 6:30 in
the theater with a PTSA meeting and a welcome from the
administrative staff. The PTSA and the McCleskey
Foundation will have information available for you. If you
have not yet joined PTSA you will have the opportunity prior to
the meeting. We appreciate your support of the McCleskey
Foundation and any donation you are able to make. At 6:55
you will be dismissed to your child’s homeroom.
Invitations to Open House will be sent home with your students
on Monday and will include the name and location of your
student’s homeroom teacher. Homeroom teachers will have a
copy of your child’s schedule and your access to ParentVue (if
available from CCSD) for 6th grade parents and new
students. The access code you receive will allow you
to create an online account to view your child’s grades.
There is one account per family. If you have an account
established you will not need a new access code or need to
reestablish your account.
Each class period will be ten minutes long and there are six
classes to attend. Please take some time to see the media
center, cafeteria and fine arts building. The evening will
conclude no later than 8:30 so that teachers may get home and
rest in preparation for the next day of school.
Parking is available in the front parking lot, the parking lot
behind the gym and in the bus lanes, and at Nicholson Elementary
school. Parking is at a premium, please carpool whenever
We look forward to meeting all the parents.
