McCleskey is a Save It Forward Food Pantry

Showing up for school every day on time has a huge impact on a student’s
academic success starting in kindergarten and continuing through
high school. Even as children grow older and more independent,
families play a key role in making sure students get to school
safely every day and understand why attendance is so important
for success in school and in life.
Regular attendance is critical to your child’s success at McCleskey and we encourage
you to have your child at school all day every day unless sick. Attendance is also an important component is our CCRPI
score. Once a student reaches 6 or more days absent, whether excused or unexcused they do not count for our attendance data in both the
CCRPI and the 5 Star Climate Survey. Students who are present less than 65% of their enrollment period have standardized state test scores that do
not count for McCleskey on the CCRPI. Please support your child and our school by having your child in attendance each day.
McCleskey appreciates your support in having your child at school all day every day.
