Summer Hours
To conserve energy and taxpayer dollars,
Cobb County schools will adopt a 4-day
summer schedule effective Monday, June 3 -
Friday, July 26. All CCSD
Schools are closed on Fridays (with the
exception of Friday, July 5) The Tritt
front office will be open from 8:00 - 5:00
Monday thru Thursday.
Summer Registration
If you are new to Cobb County and enrolling
at Tritt Elementary, click

Bring
all required documentation to Tritt on
Thursday, July 25th from 8:00 - 6:00 to
enroll your student.

the PTA through June 15th

the 2013-2014 school year.

No need to wait for a supply list and shop
around! After purchasing online, you can
pick up your school supplies in the gym at Meet
and Greet. We hope to make the beginning of the
school year efficient and accommodating for all
of our Tritt parents. Site closes June

New Buzz-In System
Our school has a new system for entering the
building through the front doors. With this new system,
visitors need to "Buzz-In" after 8:10am.

Diamonds for Mom
Winner
Congratulations to
Tritt Elementary Fifth Grader Baylei
Budreski who was one of three diamond
winners from David Douglas Diamonds &
Jewelry’s 10th Annual Dazzling
Diamonds for Mom Writing Contest.
Owner Doug Meadows surprised Baylei & her
Mom Apryle on the Tritt morning
announcements. Approximately 10,000
entries were received and 3 winners earned a
diamond for their Mom.

Tritt's Volunteer of the Year Jordy Gruber
Congratulations to
Tritt D.U.D.E. & Classroom Volunteer Jordy
Gruber for winning the honor of Tritt
Elementary’s Volunteer of the Year.
Every Wednesday, Jordy helps students get
off the buses safely and greets them with a
smile. He also volunteers in
classrooms and performs puppet shows & magic
tricks for our special needs students.
Jordy is a wonderful asset to our school and
our community and we thank him for his
dedication.
Tritt’s Safety Task
Force
Members of the Tritt
Elementary Safety Task Force recently met
with Cobb County School District’s new
Executive Director of Public Safety Ron
Storey. Director Storey is a Retired
Deputy Chief for the Cobb County Police
Department (27 years) & has 7 years of
previous experience with the City of Atlanta
and Fulton County Police Depts.
Director Storey was born and raised in Cobb
County and graduated from Osborne High
School. He & his wife Alice have 4
children & enjoy spending time with their
grandchildren. Tritt welcomes Director
Storey to the Cobb County School District.
