Welcome To Wheeler High School

Wheeler_front

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!  We wish all of our students, staff, and families a wonderful holiday season!

Final Exams

In the case of illness, students may be tested after the scheduled testing period. If a situation arises that prevents a student from taking a final exam, he or she must seek permission from the principal prior to the finals by sending a note or email from the parent/guardian to take the final(s) upon return from winter break. The final(s) must be made-up within the first ten days of second semester and it is the student's responsibility to schedule a make-up date with the corresponding teacher(s).

Wildcat Nation!

This year Wheeler Athletics will sponsor a tailgate party before each home football game.  The Wheeler tailgate party is a social event / pep rally that will be held in the south end of our bus port. Tailgating, an American tradition, involves playing loud music, participating in leisure games, and grilling food. Tailgate parties usually occur in parking lots at stadiums, before games.  Many people participate even if their vehicles do not have a tailgate. In schools and communities throughout the United States, there are athletic departments, coaches and parents of student athletes who rely on pre-game tailgating parties to build community and support for their program and team. Wheeler’s Tailgate was developed to energize the Wildcat Nation and establish a strong core of support year after year.

Wheeler’s Tailgate:

When:  Before every home Varsity Football game at 4:30 PM

Where:  Bus Port Bay - adjacent to café, Fieldhouse, and bus pavilion.
