This year Wheeler
Athletics will sponsor a tailgate party before each home
football game. The Wheeler tailgate party is a social
event / pep rally that will be held in the south end of our bus
port. Tailgating, an American tradition, involves playing loud
music, participating in leisure games, and grilling food.
Tailgate parties usually occur in parking lots at stadiums,
before games. Many people participate even if their
vehicles do not have a tailgate. In schools and communities
throughout the United States, there are athletic departments,
coaches and parents of student athletes who rely on pre-game
tailgating parties to build community and support for their
program and team. Wheeler’s Tailgate was developed to energize
the Wildcat Nation and establish a strong core of support year
every home Varsity Football game at 4:30 PM
Port Bay - adjacent to café, Fieldhouse, and bus pavilion.

Raymond Chevy Drive for Perfection
Test Drive a New Chevrolet and Support
Wheeler! Wheeler has a chance to receive a monetary donation
from Steve Rayman Chevrolet through an upcoming “Test Drive
Period.” You can go to Steve Rayman Chevrolet at 2155 Cobb
Parkway in Marietta and for each test drive through the rest of
November Wheeler will receive a $50 donation, new or pre-owned.
Once you make your test drive, ask for a voucher that gives you
a code and directs you online to
enter the code and select Wheeler High School. It’s that
easy! Last year we raised over $1100 dollars. We are competing
against Osborne High School! Also, from now through the end of
the year, our school will get a $100 donation per new and
pre-owned car bought by a Wheeler family.
