Welcome To Wheeler High School

STUDENTS! PARENTS! IT'S ELECTIVES REGISTRATION TIME!

We are registering online for the 2014-15 School Year!  All of the information needed/required is listed under the Course Info Tab above.  For students and parents who do not have access to the internet or who would be more comfortable working in conjunction with a member of the faculty to register, we will be here Wednesday, April 9, 16, and 23 from 4-6:30 pm in the Media Center to assist.   Beginning April 9, faculty members will be available in the Media Center to assist students with registration during all lunch periods.   This registration period is important to both the students and staff of Wheeler High School because course request numbers determine what we offer and to what degree we offer it which directly affects/influences teaching allotments/necessity.

Parents, we need your help!

Please take a moment and assist Wheeler High School in measuring our school’s climate by completing the Georgia Parent Survey. The Georgia Parent Survey is being administered for the first time during the 2013-14 school year by the Georgia Department of Education (GaDOE) and is open through March 30, 2014.  Data from the survey will be used, as one variable, to calculate Wheeler High School’s Climate Star Rating within the College and Career Ready Performance Index (CCRPI).  The survey’s webpage is available electronically on personal computers, smartphones or iPads consisting of 20 questions and should not take more than 5-10 minutes for completion.

Responses are anonymous and will be submitted directly to the GaDOE for analysis. The information will be used as a guide on how we educate our children, interact with parents, and better serve our staff.  We are looking forward to hearing from a large number of parents in order to get an accurate reflection of Wheeler’s climate. For useful information about Wheeler high school prior to taking the survey, please click here.  Thank you for your time and cooperation.

Click here to take the survey.  After you click on the link, a drop-down menu will appear.  You should then select Cobb County School District and Wheeler High School.  For additional information you may contact Dr. David Chiprany or Dr. Jenkins-Mann at 770-578-3266.

Steve Raymond Chevy Drive for Perfection

Test Drive a New Chevrolet and Support Wheeler! Wheeler has a chance to receive a monetary donation from Steve Rayman Chevrolet through an upcoming “Test Drive Period.”  You can go to Steve Rayman Chevrolet at 2155 Cobb Parkway in Marietta and for each test drive through the rest of November  Wheeler will receive a $50 donation, new or pre-owned.  Once you make your test drive, ask for a voucher that gives you a code and directs you online to www.chevydriveforperfection.com/earn2learn, enter the code and select Wheeler High School.  It’s that easy! Last year we raised over $1100 dollars. We are competing against Osborne High School! Also, from now through the end of the year, our school will get a $100 donation per new and pre-owned car bought by a Wheeler family.
