Jill Spiva, Principal
Jill Spiva is a product of the Cobb County School District attending Garrison Mill, Mabry and Lassiter High School. She earned her undergraduate degree in Early Childhood Education from the University of Georgia and later went on to pursue her Masters Degree and Specialist Degree in Educational Leadership, at Kennesaw State University.
She began her teaching career in 2001 with the Cobb County School District. Over the past 23 years with the district, she has taught 1st, 3rd, 4th and 5th grades, as well as serving as an Academic Coach in two Cobb schools. She entered administration in 2014 as Assistant Principal of Shallowford Falls Elementary School and most recently Assistant Principal at Davis Elementary. Jill is beginning her 4th year as principal at Addison Elementary and loves her Gator staff and students.
Jill has 3 beautiful children: Hudson (16 years old), Grant (12 years old) and Harper (10 years old). When she is not busy chasing her kiddos around, she enjoys the outdoors, exercising, cooking and Georgia football.
Ashley Taylor, Assistant Principal
Ashley Taylor is a proud product of the Cobb County School District, having attended Varner Elementary, Lost Mountain Middle School, and McEachern High School. She earned both her Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education and her Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership from Kennesaw State University.
Ashley began her teaching career in 2011 at Kemp Elementary, where she spent over a decade serving students in various roles as a classroom teacher. From 2022 to 2025, she continued her journey at Baker Elementary as the Innovation Lab Specialist and later as the Lead Interventionist, supporting students' academic growth and instructional support.
Ashley and her husband, Sean, reside in Woodstock with their three children—Ford (7), Bryn (5), and Tripp (21 months). When she’s not at school, you can find her cheering on her kids at the ballfield, enjoying the outdoors, or spending quality time at home with her family.
