Student Check In/Out Policies

All students are allowed and encouraged to use the library on a daily basis with their classroom pass. 

1. Kindergarten, 1st, and 2nd grade students may check out one book per visit.  Students are encouraged to come in often to help familiarize themselves with the check in and check out procedures, as well as learn/practice their communication skills when they have a particular book of interest they are searching for.  

2. 3rd-5th grade students may check out two books per visit.

3. Books may be checked out for two weeks.  Lost and/or damaged books will result in a charge of the replacement cost of the book.  Books that are not paid for could result in the student no longer being able to check out until the fine(s) are paid or the book(s) are returned *Rule DJF-R: District Property fines for lost or damaged books.
