Individual Counseling:

Individual counseling is an ongoing service. Students, parents and staff may request support for children at LaBelle Elementary School.

What are some reasons to see the school counselor?

*Problems with friends

*Problems at home

*Feeling stressed or overwhelmed

*Feeling scared or worried

*Sharing positive news or achievements

Small Groups:

I provide small group counseling throughout the school year. In small groups, we focus on academic success, handling family changes and dealing with strong feelings. Additional small groups are facilitated based on student needs. Students may only attend small groups with parental permission.

Each class will receive a monthly lesson. School Counselor lessons focus on the following domains:

Crisis Help

A crisis has no schedule.  Help is available 24/7 for problems with developmental disabilities, mental health, drugs, or alcohol.  For immediate access to routine or crisis services, please call the Georgia Crisis and Access Line (GCAL) at 1-800-715-4225 or click on the image below for more information. GCAL is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and 365 days a year to help you or someone you care for in a crisis.

Reporting Child Abuse

To report Child Abuse contact DFCS Child Protective Services.  Child abuse and/or neglect reports are taken 24 hours a day, seven days a week.  If you suspect that child abuse is occurring, please call 1-855-GACHILD (1-855-422-4453)

Safe Schools Hotline

Anonymous/Confidential - Report drugs, weapons, bullying, threats, or other safety issues.  Call 1-877-SAY-STOP (1-877-7297867) 24 hours a day, seven days a week.  Co-Sponsored by the Georgia Department of Education and the Georgia Department of Public Safety.
