Tapp Middle School hosted its first annual Resource Fair on September 21, 2023, to provide free resources to its Powder Springs families. 

Organized by the Tapp Together Team, which consists of Mrs. Taiwo Idun, school counselor; Mrs. Joacey Bautista-Fraser, school secretary; and Mrs. Alaiya Shotwell, school social worker; with support from parent facilitator Mrs. Laura Shyman, the event featured over 20 organizations offering invaluable resources to families. Vendors included Ser Familia, LinkedUp Church, and the City of Powder Springs.  

The resource fair was also an opportunity for families to engage directly with Tapp's administration and participating staff, fostering a sense of community among the 70+ attendees. It featured raffle prizes and convenient on-site food trucks for families.
