Barber Middle School will
not be conducting
a formal summer reading program this year. We encourage
all students to read two or three books within their lexile
level, but students will not be required to complete an
assignment to accompany this reading.

A message from Dr. Williams:
Acworth Intermediate School and
Barber Middle School are exploring initiatives to provide a
pilot on-site health and counseling center to students within
our attendance zone. Licensed health and mental health
professionals would be available to provide services such as
immunizations, physical exams, treatment of minor illnesses (ear
aches, sore throats, cuts and bruises), mental
health/counseling, and on-going preventative and management of
conditions such as diabetes and asthma. The costs associated
with the health center will not be incurred by the school
district.
To help us identify the need for a
School‐Based Health Center and the services that would be
offered, we would like to ask a few questions about the health
needs of your child.
