2014-15 School Choice

The Cobb County School District is again offering School Choice (HB 251 and SB10) transfers for the 2014-2015 school year.  Applications will be available beginning February 10, 2014.  For more information, please see our 2014-15 School Choice website.

NEW Cornerstones for Success Program

Beginning 12/4/13, Cornerstones for Success will offer a new math program called Make Music Count.  Make Music Count is a new creative math curriculum that teaches math through learning how to play a song on a piano.  Each musical note that is played is derived by solving an algebraic equation.  Here is a new method teachers can use to excite students about learning mathematics.  Mathematics will be seen as fun,  while also strengthening students’ understanding of solving algebra equations once they Make Music Count!  If you’d like more information, please email Petrina.fowler@cobbk12.org
