Atlanta Falcons NFL Play 60 FitnessGram Celebration at the
Arthur Blank Family Center on September 14.

Middle School and Keheley Elementary are among 35 schools
selected across the state to participate in the Atlanta Falcons
NFL Play 60 FitnessGram program. The schools were chosen
through an application process and over the next two years, the
Atlanta Falcons will showcase these CCSD schools as a models for
the NFL PLAY 60 initiative and for Georgia Shape, the Governor’s
statewide campaign that is mobilizing more than 2,000 schools to
improve youth fitness. Governor Nathan Deal made a special
appearance and spoke of the importance of physical education in
BMS Remembers 9/11/01
BMS and CCSD honored and
remembered military, police and fire personnel, and EMTs who
served September 11, 2001, and continue to serve us today with a
moving program. Mr. Bill Cominos, Re-tired NY Fire Chief and
importance of everyone working together for the betterment of
themselves, their families, and the school. Students got a
glimpse of what actually took place on that day. Our 8th graders
represented us well. It was a PHENOMENAL day!
