Principal's Message

It is my pleasure to welcome everyone back for another great year at Allatoona High School. Our faculty and staff look forward to having students back in our classrooms and hallways, filling them with energy and enthusiasm.  It is our promise to you that each and every student will feel welcomed, connected, and be given every opportunity to be successful this year.

At Allatoona, we have great teachers who work extremely hard to plan and create classroom activities to engage our students in learning.  Our teachers collaborate, utilize best practices, and analyze academic data to determine skill levels and set appropriate learning goals for each and every student.  It is our goal that all students graduate from Allatoona prepared for the demands of post-secondary education, career readiness, and effective citizenship.

You can support your student’s success this year by checking to make sure that assignments are completed, staying in contact with teachers via email or telephone, and joining PTSA.  We are working hard this year to continue to build Allatoona’s PTSA into a strong organization that plays an important role in supporting a variety of outstanding programs and activities.  The consistent support and encouragement of parents result in greater success for all students.

We would also like to invite you to visit our school website.  It is our hope that our website will serve as a resource tool for upcoming events and important announcements.  Please stay involved, and call on your child’s teacher, counselor, or administrator for any assistance you may need during the 2016-2017 school year.

Go Bucs!
