Community Meeting Feb. 27th

The public is invited to attend Cobb School District's Town Hall Meeting on February 27th, 6:30 pm in the Campbell High School Theater.  Cobb School Board member Susan Thayer is hosting the meeting that will cover SPOST V.

STAR Student 2017 - Michael Peng

Congratulations to Michael Peng, Campbell's 2017 Star Student.  STAR students must outscore the rest of their school on the SAT and be in the top 10 students in their graduating class.  Michael Peng selected Melyn Roberson as his STAR teacher.


Dual Enrollment Meeting, March 9

Parents and Students are invited to attend a meeting 6-8 pm March 9th on Dual Enrollment in College, called Move on When Ready, in the Campbell Auditorium.  More information.


Construction

Construction of Campbell's new 3000 seat gymnasium is in progress.  Visitor parking spaces are available in Wills lot, Tiger lot, and the football stadium.   MAP


All Region Athletes

Congratulations to our basketball players who made All Region teams: Jordan Hamilton and Tyree Crankfield - First Team All Region; Kayln Jaxon and Donovan Grant - Second Team All Region; and Jadyn Rice, honorable mention.


Elective Registration for 2017-18

Students received registration information during homeroom, Wed., 2/15.  Students can review the 2017-18 Course Catalog course descriptions and pre-requisites to prepare for elective registration in March. More information.


MLK Awards Ceremony Held

Friday, February 10, Campbell honored members of our community, student body and faculty that most exemplified the virtues of Dr. King.  Faculty recipients: Jeffery O'Neal, Arielle Rochelin. Student recipients: Taylor Deering, Justin Hall. Community recipients: Dan Landt, Vernon Ivory.


French Skype

French Connection

Campbell students in Dr. Dimova's class enjoy skyping in the classroom with  students in France.  The French students are scheduled to visit Campbell soon.

 


GA Tech Admissions at CHS

Georgia Tech recently visited Campbell High School to recognize 15 students who were recently accepted in early action.  More information.



CCRPI  - Campbell gains!

Campbell High School had the largest increase of all Cobb high schools in CCRPI, the second largest gain in the district!!  CHS jumped from 66.2 in 2015 to 77.5 in 2016!!  CCRPI is Georgia's school ratings measure. More information.

Campbell Receives National Award

Campbell's Sources of Strength Peer Leader Program was one of 10 high school programs in the country to win the 2016 InspirED Changemaker Award.  More information. 


Campbell wins CobbTank Grant

Campbell parent facilitator Denisse Romero led a group of students in participating in the 2016 Cobb Tank competition, and the team was awarded $9,000 to create an International Room at Campbell.  More information.


Senior Class of 2017 

Students must go to www.highschool.herffjones.com to place orders and make payments for caps,gowns, and announcements. Please mark your calendar! CHS graduation ceremony for the Class of 2017 will be Friday, May 26, 2016, at the KSU Convocation Center at 2:30 pm.  Additional information regarding graduation will be available in the spring.

House Bill 91

Governor Nathan Deal signed House Bill 91 into law on March 30, 2015. The law contains provisions for students no longer enrolled in the school system to petition the Local Board of Education for a diploma if their sole reason for not receiving a diploma was due to not passing any part of the required graduation tests at the time of enrollment.
