ACADEMIC
SUMMER CAMPS!

8 a.m. to Noon
Last week! July 10, 11, 12, 13

Dear Parents and Students,

This summer, Griffin is offering a unique opportunity to serve our students in two significant ways that can help them to be successful.

#1:  Summer Camp for Retention Candidates:  If you have been contacted and informed that your child is in danger of being retained, or going to be retained, your child MUST attend a minimum of one session of summer camp.  Failure to do so will result in retention from moving on to the next grade.  During these sessions, students will be remediated in the skills that they missed during the course of the regular school year.  Remediation will be done electronically with teacher guidance and tutoring available if needed.

#2:  Summer Camp for Students Needing/Wanting Skill Reinforcement:  If you would like to get extra help in reading and/or math skills, you are invited to attend summer camp, and we would LOVE to have you!  We will also be planning some fun activities to do while you are here.

Bus Transportion is Provided!
