Public Health Request

Dear Griffin Community,

Please read the following public health request from Cobb and Douglas Public Health.

Please help remind students that while schools are closed, they need to be social distancing (that includes play dates…) and with the amount of cases we have in the area, everyone should be self-monitoring for symptoms.

Important Information about students walking
to and from Griffin via King Springs Elementary

Students can continue to walk to and from Griffin down the path through King Springs ES during construction. If this changes throughout the project, we will communicate this to parents and students in multiple methods. Students need to be alert and watching where they walk. I know many parents wait in the parking lot of King Springs Elementary for their student(s) to walk up. With the construction and limited parking for KSE, this could be challenging so please be mindful of this as we all work together during construction.
