Palmer Re-Validated as an
AVID National Demonstration School
Palmer Middle School officially received re-validation as the only AVID National Demonstration School in the state of Georgia!!
Our AVID program met the standards for supporting the program effectiveness and student progress. The AVID program is designed to
increase students’ achievement, develop skills in writing for learning, achieve success in honor classes, and become an effective
learner in groups.
Congratulations to all who helped make this possible including: our AVID students, the AVID site team, the school administration,
and especially our AVID site team leader Mrs. Dora Brown and our AVID instructor Mr. Vijay Koilpillai!!
