We encourage our Argyle Scotties to have fun and enjoy their summers but to also keep reading! Continuing to read during the summer empowers students to maintain all the gains they have made in reading throughout the school year. The Cobb County School District Library Media Education Department and the Smyrna Public Library are challenging students to read for at least 20 minutes each day and log their reading in Beanstack. Students earn digital badges by logging reading minutes in Beanstack, our year-round reading engagement platform. The Smyrna Public Library is also giving students who log at least 1000 minutes a prize pack. This prize pack will contain a certificate, BragTag, bookmark, sticker, coupon to DQ on Spring Rd, and a free book! If you prefer, you may also obtain a paper log from Smyrna Public Library to track reading minutes.

*Did you know that you can connect your CCSD Beanstack account to your Smyrna Library Beanstack? See the link in the Additional Information section below for a video on how to do this.
