Our first-grade students recently completed an exciting Challenge-Based Learning (CBL) experience focused on the continents of the world! Throughout the challenge, students explored each continent by learning about its geography, culture, animals, landforms, weather, and unique characteristics. Using their new knowledge, they designed and created a good or service that represented a specific continent and explained how it connected to what they learned. To celebrate their hard work, students proudly showcased their creations to their families, sharing their thinking, creativity, and problem-solving skills. This meaningful experience empowered our young learners to think globally, collaborate with peers, and apply their learning in an authentic and engaging way.
