Welcome to the Clarkdale Elementary After School Program!

The After School Program (ASP) provides a safe, fun, and nurturing environment for the care of elementary students in the Cobb County School District who attend Face-to-Face instruction from after school (2:45) until 6:00 PM each day school is in session, including early release days. The program does not operate on student holidays, district holidays, or digital learning days. ASP will be closed upon the District’s announcement of inclement weather. ASP is a self-supporting program and receives no support from taxpayer funds.

ASP Highlights:

  • $20 Annual Non-Refundable Registration Fee
  • Attendance Fee Invoiced Weekly:  $10 Per Day, Per Child
  • Register, pay for, and manage accounts on any device
  • View and print invoices, receipts, and annual tax statements
  • Pay for programs using secure and convenient digital payment methods

Payment:

After School Programs at the Cobb County School District have partnered with Eleyo to provide easy-to-use, mobile-friendly technology for online registration, account management, and payments. Online payments made with credit card and ACH/electronic check will be subject to a 4.75% processing/program fee. Cash or check payments may be made directly to your school’s program with no processing/program fee. Please see your school’s ASP Director for more details.

Enrollment:

ASP enrollment in Eleyo must be completed before the student can attend ASP.

To enroll your elementary school aged student in ASP, the Enrolling Adult will need to register for an Eleyo account and submit a contract for each student.  The Enrolling Adult, as defined by Cobb County School District Policy, is the parent/guardian with whom the student resides and who enrolled the student in school.

NOTE: Contracts submitted by anyone other than the Enrolling Adult will not be accepted.

You must Register Here through Eleyo

Registration and Annual Fee

There is an annual non-refundable registration fee of $20 per child.  This fee must be paid at the time the parent registers the child.  Therefore, your child will be charged the registration fee ($20) plus daily fee ($10) on the first day he/she stays in the program.  Total due for first stay is $30.  If there are any changes to the information provided at the time of registration, it is the parent’s responsibility to inform ASP on the ASP Registration Form (especially concerning phone numbers and emergency contact).

Daily Fee

ASP IS A PREPAID CASH ONLY PROGRAM, THEREFORE PAYMENT IS DUE IN ADVANCE.  The attendance cost of the program is $50 per week or $10 per day.  This fee ensures that we will be able to operate efficiently, be self-sufficient, and provide the necessary teacher-to-student ratio.  The daily tuition pays for all staffing needs, snacks, supplies, and games for the After School Program.  Payments can be made using the brown payment envelope provided for payment each week, completing the necessary information.  If the payment is for more than one student, please include names of all students and amounts you want deposited to each student’s account.  Do not include other school money, such as lunch, PTA, or field trips.   Change will not be given. All money will be credited to the student’s ASP account.  The completed envelope should be placed in the BLACK BOX OUTSIDE THE OFFICE.  At this time, we do not accept payments by check.

Outstanding Balances

Your child should have a positive account balance of at least $10 or more on the day you plan to send your child to ASP.   As a courtesy, our clerks may contact parents whose balances are running low or delinquent; however, it is the parent’s responsibility to know their account balances and make payments in a timely manner.  A student will be suspended from the program for non-payment of fees and other after-school childcare arrangements will need to be made. If you have questions about your account balance, please contact the ASP bookkeeper.

Late Pick-Ups

The ASP will end at 6:00 p.m. SHARP.  There will be a late fee for late pick up.  The fee will be charged as follows: 6:00 to 6:01 will be a $1 charge and $1 PER MINUTE THEREAFTER.  A LATE FEE OF $1 per minute per child will be charged to the parent for every minute after 6 p.m. according to the school clock.  Your child will be withdrawn from the program after the third late pick up, per Cobb County School District ASP program rules.

Behavior Expectations and Dismissal Procedures

  1. The same respectful behavior expected during the regular school day is expected during the ASP hours.  ASP personnel will notify a parent if a problem occurs.  All Cobb County School District policies in the student handbook apply to ASP.  Three county discipline notices will result in suspension or withdrawal from the program.
  2. For the protection of your student, only people designated on the registration form will be allowed to pick up your student.  IDENTIFICATION WILL BE REQUIRED.  Each student must be signed out at the ASP desk every day.
