ARRIVAL

  • School officially starts at 7:50 a.m. and is over at 2:20 p.m.
  • Due to the extensive car line, children can arrive at 6:45 a.m. and there will be a staff member on duty to receive those students.
  • At 7:15 am staff members will be on duty in the driveway/ramp area and throughout the school building to monitor all students as they arrive.
  • Parents bringing students to school after 7:50 am must bring the child into the school to sign them in for the day.

DISMISSAL

  • Children may be dismissed before the school day ends, only when a parent, guardian or other authorized person(s) comes to the main office with proper identification before 1:30 pm.
  • Parents can assist the teacher by sending a note stating that the child will be leaving early that day. All 5 children must be picked up in the main office.
  • Parents/guardians are not authorized to go to the child’s classroom. Again the school hours are from 7:50 until 2:20 pm.
  • Early check out could create problems in the total school environment because instruction is missed and classes are interrupted. However if you must check your child out of school early or make a transportation change please make sure that it is done before 1:30pm to minimize classroom disruptions and to assure the safety of your child.
  • To ensure the safety and security of your child, all changes must be made in writing. We are unable to verify the identity of the person making the change over the phone or by email.
  • A change to place a pre-registered child in ASP will not be accepted over the phone, the change must be made in writing due to the fact that an adult must come in and sign for the child. Bus riders, car rider, and walker changes cannot be taken over the phone or by email.

**** EARLY DISMISSAL DUE TO INCLEMENT WEATHER ****

An Inclement Weather form is provided for parents to indicate where their child will go and who will transport their child in the event of snow and/or icy road conditions or other emergency situations which necessitate an emergency early release of children from school. If there is inclement weather or other emergency conditions that causes the School district to close the schools, the After School Program will not be in session.
