Wednesday, February 1st is World Read Aloud Day! On this day, people around the world read aloud together sharing stories to advocate for literacy as a human right. Visit LitWorld and Scholastic for an abundance of resources--including virtual read-alouds, activities, and research on the impact of reading--to help you plan something special as a family in honor of World Read Aloud Day. This year Storyvoice is also hosting a worldwide WRAD-a-thon on the free Storyvoice app. Book creators will be reading, drawing, and interacting live with classrooms and families around the globe. (Recordings of the live sessions will be available on Thursday, February 2nd.)
