The following are activities that students can get involved in. The announcements will provide more details and there will also be signs posted around the building about upcoming meeting times. | Academic Team | Academic Team is an active club that participates in 5-6 tournaments held on Saturdays throughout the year. We practice at least twice a month using a buzzer system. Many students find the practice is so much fun that they join just for that experience. | Durham Ambassadors (DA) | Durham Ambassadors are selected students to help support our school community by welcoming new students as well as guests in the buildings. | Durham Science Olympiad | The Georgia Science Olympiad (GASO) mission is to provide a fun, competitive platform for students to collaborate and deepen their STEM knowledge GA Science Olympiad. Through this mission, GASO offers an extracurricular program for students in grades 3–12, where teams prepare for a variety of STEM events that rotate each year. Musical Theater Club | The Middle School Musical Theater Club is an after-school program that gives students the opportunity to participate in a full-scale musical production. Students selected (through an audition process) will rehearse on Tuesdays and Thursdays throughout the season, developing their skills in acting, singing, dancing, and teamwork while preparing for performances on February 5 and 6.
