I am thrilled to introduce myself as the new Director of the South Cobb Early Learning Center! I am honored to join the SCELC Cubs family and cannot wait to begin an exciting school year with you and your children.
This year marks my 20th year in early childhood education, and I have spent the last 11 years in school administration. I began my leadership journey as the School Leadership Intern at Mableton Elementary School before serving as the Assistant Principal at Nickajack Elementary School for the past nine years. Throughout my career, I have been passionate about creating positive learning experiences that help every child grow academically, socially, and emotionally.
As both an educator and the mother of four children, I understand the importance of providing young learners with a strong foundation. I believe that children thrive when they are engaged in meaningful, play-based learning in a safe, nurturing environment. Equally important are the partnerships we build with families. When schools and families work together, we create the best possible opportunities for our children to succeed.
At SCELC, I look forward to fostering a culture where every child feels loved, supported, and excited to learn each day. My goal is to build strong relationships with our students, families, and staff while ensuring that every Cub has the opportunity to grow and flourish.
I am excited to meet each of you, learn more about your families, and partner with you throughout the school year. Together, we will make this a wonderful year filled with learning, growth, and memorable experiences.
