Attention Parents! Here's How to Keep Learning Going This Summer

May 18, 2026 — This summer, Cobb Schools is offering more opportunities for students to learn, grow, and get ahead in the classroom—all while being able to stay at home.
These Summer Link resources are available to all pre-K through 12th-grade students in Cobb, specifically for Math and ELA.
For students looking to get ahead in math, Summer Link offers engaging games that build problem-solving skills while making learning fun.
You'll also be able to see Georgia's new Math standards and track progress by looking at Georgia's K-12 math progressions.
In addition to these resources, Summer Link offers summer refresher courses for rising 9th-12th-grade students to help them start the school year strong and reinforce what they learned during the previous year.
Over the summer, Cobb Schools encourages students to read for 20 minutes each day.
Through Summer Link, families now have easy access to helpful ELA tools that promote and grow student literacy.
To help support the efforts to read for 20 minutes a day, you'll be able to look at a list of reading materials and an easy way to track your reading time each day throughout the summer.
You will also have access to a refresher literacy course over the summer, so rising 9-12 grade students are ready to start the year strong and remember all they've learned.
