Questions?

Please direct all questions pertaining to community service opportunities or hours to Carolina Mora Zapata.

Available Opportunities

All community service hours must be earned outside the school day with a non-profit organization. Some available opportunities include:

Area Churches

Volunteer with children, clean the church or grounds, or become a Sunday School or Vacation Bible School helper while attending with your family.

Shop With A Warrior

Help elementary students shop for the holidays. We offer this opportunity once a year through Cobb County schools.

Elementary & Middle School Events

Volunteer at one of our feeder schools to earn hours. You may be helping with PTA events, in their STEM programs, or at community nights. Contact a local school for upcoming events.

Animal Shelters

Volunteer at Mostly Mutts or our area Humane Society cleaning cages, walking dogs, or staffing their visitor area.

Area Shelters

Serve food, help watch children, and make a tangible difference in our community. MUST Ministries and other area shelters can always use an extra set of hands.

Habitat for Humanity

Help the less fortunate rebuild their lives with Habitat for Humanity. Check out the Habitat for Humanity website for local service opportunities.

Girl & Boy Scouts

Help kids explore nature, discover their talents, and have fun by becoming a scout volunteer. You may help at Girl Scout Camp or mentor a younger boy scout troop on weekend campouts

Kennesaw Parks and Recreation

Help keep our parks beautiful, become a little league coach, or help run one of our community events by volunteering with Parks and Rec. You can sign up online.
