Cardinal Nation Celebrates the Class of 2027 at Annual Senior Walk

The excitement of senior year officially arrived Monday morning as more than 300 members of Osborne High School's Class of 2027 gathered in the arena for the school's annual Senior Walk. Music filled the arena as friends reunited after the summer, posed for photos, and signed the Class of 2027 banner before beginning their final first day of high school. The celebration was more than just a tradition—it was the first chapter of a year filled with milestones, memories, and the anticipation of what lies ahead.

While the seniors celebrated together inside, hundreds of parents, siblings, grandparents, and relatives lined the route from the arena through the Performing Arts Center lobby and up into the 200 Floor Hallway. Waving handmade signs and cheering enthusiastically, families welcomed students as they made their way through the building, creating an unforgettable start to the school year.

"This is one of my favorite mornings of the entire year," said Principal Dr. Jones. "There is something incredibly special about watching our seniors begin their final year surrounded by so much love and encouragement. Osborne has always been a school that celebrates its students, and Senior Walk is one of the best examples of what makes our Cardinal Nation such a special place. Every year I look forward to seeing the smiles, hearing the cheers, and watching our community come together to remind these students just how much they mean to us."
